2015 Festival...

We do not have any definite information from the GTA as yet, concerning the 2015 Ghana Paragliding Festival. We will post information here and on the official festival Facebook page as soon as we know more details. 2014 festival is on!!!l

We have finally received official notice from the Ghana Tourist Authority that the 2014 Ghana Paragliding Festival is a go!  Tandem flights will be offered April 18-21 from Kwahu Ridge above the town of Nkawkaw.  It appears there will be an international team of 15 tandem pilots flying.  Hopefully we will be able to accommodate all those people that want to fly!!!  Information will also be updated on the festival Facebook page.  Hope to see you there!

2014 Festival...

We are currently awaiting confirmation and information from the Ghana Tourist Authority concerning the 2014 Ghana Paragliding Festival.  We will post information as soon as it becomes available. The expected dates this year are over Easter weekend, April 18-21. Current updates will also be posted on the event Facebook page.

Festival 2013 is on!!

The KDA and the GTA have combined resourses and will host the Ghana Paragliding Festival this year.  (March 29 - April 1)  Eight tandem pilots from France, Japan and the USA will be flying as many passengers that time and weather conditions permit. Numerous solo pilots will also attend the festival from the USA,  Japan, New Zealand, Belgium, Netherlands, Benin, Togo and Nigeria!  We look forward to another safe and successful event.

2013 Festival

If the current situation continues to progress, the Ghana Paragliding Festival in some form will occur March 29-31. At this time the GTA is unable to host the event. However, it appears a separate entity will have the resources to sponsor the festival.  As usual, tandem flights will be offered and space is limited. Solo pilots are also encouraged to attend as we expect excellent flying conditions.
